Coaching the AIHL Phoenix Dragons Inline Hockey teams

The Phoenix Dragons is an Elite Inline Hockey club competing in the Elite and Minor divisions of the American Inline Hockey League (AIHL). Our Phoenix Dragons inline hockey teams are part of the Southwest region of the AIHL. The Phoenix Dragons Elites were the 2008 National PIHA champions in their inaugural year.

The success of the Phoenix Dragons Hockey teams has driven our hockey club to further invest in Elite youth hockey players and to create the Jr. Dragons hockey program. You can learn more about the Phoenix Dragons Elite, Minor, and Junior hockey programs at the Castle Sports Club in Phoenix, AZ.

Team Excalibur Hockey Club is an Elite through Developmental Youth Inline/Ice Hockey program in the metro Phoenix AZ area. Team Excalibur inline hockey teams have competed locally to nationally since 1998. Our hockey coaches are certified in both ice hockey and inline hockey by their National Governing Bodies (NGB).

Our motto is "We build Champions".

The focus of the Team Excalibur Hockey Club is on training and participation, delivering the most value for your family's hockey experience. Team Excalibur trains for several levels of competition for multiple age divisions and also include Senior Masters (Over 30, Over 40, and Over 50) and Womens and Girls 18U divisions.

Several youth hockey players that started their travel career at the Castle Sports Club (Phoenix Arizona) in recreational hockey or travel hockey have moved through the age ranks of 8U to play on either the Phoenix Dragons Elite or Minor teams.

Playing Inline Hockey for Team USA

The Team Excalibur inline hockey program is proud to have 2 players on the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) FIRS/USARS World Inline Hockey Team USA.

Team USA Womens Inline Hockey

Allison Era is selected to the 2012 USARS Team USA Women's World Inline Hockey team marking her 5th consecutive year under the age of 20. Allison has also been named one of the Alternate Captains for this year's team. The 2012 World Championships will be held in the Bucaramanga Colombia.

In 2010, Allie's AIHL Phoenix Dragons Minor line-mate Courtney Orner was also named to the Team USA Women's Inline Hockey team (2009 first alternate).

In 2008, Allison Era became the first female player from Arizona to ever make the Team USA Women's World Inline Hockey team. At the age of 15, Allie Era was also the youngest player to ever earn a roster spot on Team USA in 2008 (competition in Dusseldorf, Germany).

Allie was still the youngest player in 2009 (competition in Varese, Italy) but added to the team were 2 line-mates from her LA Selects ice hockey team making the team young, unknown, and dangerous. Read more about Allie's hockey life at playslikeagirl.com.

Team USA Mens Inline Hockey

Danny Marmorstein was selected to the 2009 USARS Men's roster for his first year on the national inline hockey team. Danny is the first Arizona player to make the USARS Men's World Inline Hockey roster. Danny has performed well in the past years on Team USA Men's 21U and 18U teams.

Both Allie and Danny competed for Team USA in the 2009 FIRS World Inline Hockey Championships in Varese, Italy in 2009. Both Team USA Men and Team USA Women took home the Gold medal at the World Inline Hockey Championships!
